HRC embarks on NPA review

HRC is carrying out an evaluation to find out whether the National Plan of Action (NPA) has been effectively and efficiently implemented for period 1999 -2009.
The evaluation is expected to bring out issues that will help the Commission in carrying out its mandate and coming up with the next NPA if required.
At a workshop held in Lusaka on 22nd and 23rd September to train the HRC evaluation team, Chief Research, Advocacy and Planning, Mrs. Hope Chanda, urged the participants to work hard in order to realize the goals of the evaluation.
The evaluation team comprises Chief Research, Advocacy and Planning, Mrs. Hope Chanda, Investigation Officers, Mr. Kebby Malila and Ms Mable Simwanda, HIV and AIDS Programme Officer, Mrs. Chipo Nkhata, Materials Production Officer, Mr. Oscar Chisenga, Complaints Clerk, Mr. Robby Ditwai, and Human Rights Officers, Mwiba Mwenda, Timothy Banda, Grace Sibanda, Patrick Mtonga and Frank Gwaba.
The team will visit four provinces which include Lusaka, Northern, Western and Southern.
